Program Eligibility
All Haslam College of Business Online MBA applicants must apply through UT Haslam. To be eligible for graduate study, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. The Graduate Council requires a minimum GPA of 2.7 out of 4.0, or a 3.0 during the senior undergraduate year.
Those with prior graduate experience must have a 3.0 GPA on all graduate work. Individuals with significant work experience or who are returning to education are assessed with flexibility regarding GPA.
While the criteria mentioned represent the minimum requirements, the actual admission standards may be elevated based on the volume and caliber of applicants received.
International students graduating from U.S. institutions must meet the same standards as domestic applicants. For more specifics regarding application standards, please review the admissions requirements.
Application Materials
For your Online MBA application to be eligible for review, you must upload the following materials in your online application portal:
- Two references
- Transcripts: Copies of official transcripts from all institutions attended are sufficient to apply, but official transcripts are required for full admission to the program
- TOEFL scores if applicable
- Professional resume or CV
- Responses to a series of short essay questions
- $60 application fee
